The Platform is owned and operated by Intervue, with its registered office at Bangalore (hereinafter referred to as "Platform Owner", "we", "us", "our").

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Intervue and its affiliates (collectively "Intervue", "we", "our", "us") collect, use, share, protect or otherwise process your information through our Platform. Your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India. By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing any service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy and the applicable laws of India, including laws applicable to data protection and privacy.

Collection

We collect your personal data when you use our Platform or otherwise interact with us. Information we collect includes:

  • Account data: name, email address, and (if using Google Sign-In) your Google account identifier.
  • Audio data: microphone audio transmitted in real time during active sessions for transcription. Audio is processed by AssemblyAI and is not stored by us after the session ends.
  • Documents: resumes and job descriptions you upload to personalise AI responses. Stored only for your active use and deleted on your request.
  • Payment data: order identifiers and payment status records. Card, UPI, and banking credentials are collected and processed solely by PhonePe; we do not store them.
  • Usage data: session timestamps, duration, and platform interaction logs used for service improvement.

You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular feature. If you receive any communication claiming to be from Intervue and requesting sensitive credentials, do not respond and report it to the appropriate authorities.

Usage

We use your personal data to provide the services you request. Specifically, we use it to:

  • Deliver and personalise the AI interview preparation service.
  • Process payments and manage your session credits.
  • Resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems.
  • Send transactional communications (payment confirmations, account notices).
  • Detect and protect against fraud and other prohibited activity.
  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions.
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve the Platform.

Sharing

We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • AssemblyAI — real-time audio transcription processing.
  • Groq — AI answer generation (text prompts only; no audio shared).
  • PhonePe — payment processing.
  • Amazon Web Services — cloud infrastructure (ap-south-1, Mumbai).
  • Government/law enforcement agencies — if required by applicable law or court order.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Security Precautions

To protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures. However, the transmission of information over the internet cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure. By using the Platform, you accept the security implications of data transmission over the internet. Users are responsible for ensuring the protection of their login credentials.

Data Deletion and Retention

You may request deletion of your account by writing to us at the contact information below. Account deletion will result in the loss of all associated data. We retain your personal data for no longer than required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under applicable law. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian accounting regulations. We may retain data in anonymised form for analytical purposes.

Your Rights

You may access, rectify, and update your personal data by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent for processing by writing to us with "Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data" in the subject line. Withdrawal of consent will not be retrospective and may restrict your access to services that depend on that data.

Cookies

We use essential browser local storage to maintain your login session (JWT tokens). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Please check this page regularly for changes. We will notify you of significant changes as required under applicable laws.
